On October 24, 2024, the Pedagogical Institute together with the co-organizers, the Faculty of Education of the University of Ljubljana, the Center for the Study of Educational Policy Studies and Social Innovations, the Association of Pedagogical Workers of Slovenia and the Slovenian Association of Researchers in the Field of Education (SLODRE), organized a special event, a SYMPOSIUM on the occasion of the retirement of three prominent experts in the field of education and training: dr. Ljubica Marjanovič Umek, dr. Zdenko Kodelja and dr. Slavko Gaber.
The first part of the symposium was devoted to the presentation of their achievements by the debaters. In the second part of the symposium, they themselves presented their current work and views on the future challenges in the field of education.
