The winter holidays of one kind or another are now behind us and we invite you to the March seminar of the School Field. We have once again invited a foreign guest, who is a lawyer by education, comes from England, also works in Macedonia and has been involved in research, professional and organizational issues of higher education for decades, especially with higher education law or legislation. This is Prof. Dr. Dennis Farrington, who two years ago, together with Prof. Dr. David Palfreyman, published a comprehensive work The Law of Higher Education (2nd edition, Oxford University Press, 2012), which is one of the fundamental reference works in this field.
His excellent knowledge of Southeastern Europe, including Slovenia, certainly promises an interesting discussion, especially in the context of the announced changes to higher education legislation in our country. In the introductory part, he will talk to us about some issues of higher education legislation in the European and international context, and in the rest of the dinner, there will be time for questions and comments or for a discussion on anything that may interest us in the context of the main topic.
