We invite you to the new School Field Seminar, which this time is topically connected with the recent ministerial conference of the Bologna Process in Leuven / Louvan-la-Neuve (28-29 April 2009). Our intention is not to focus on the conference itself, but rather to familiarize ourselves with the results of some new “Bologna studies”, both “official” and “unofficial”, which came to us in April almost as often as the rain. In the introductory part of the evening, we will prepare a collage of two “official” reports (Stocktaking in Eurydice), the EUA study on “Master Degrees”, the ESU report on “Bologna through students’ eyes” and, last but not least, Cliff Adelman’s report on “Bologna through American eyes”.
The results of these studies almost naturally raise the question of what the trends in European education will be in the coming years and where Slovenia stands in this context. We will answer these questions much better together, so I kindly invite you to come to room 026 at the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana, Kardeljeva pl. 16, Ljubljana, on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
